Travel Services Terms and Conditions

We are CJH Luxury Travel and are excited to help you with your travel. The following terms & conditions (the "Agreement") describe what you can expect from us. The terms "we", "us", and "our" refer to CJH Luxury Travel, and the term "you" refers to the individual who signs this agreement.

PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE.  IT CONSTITUTES PART OF YOUR CONTRACT FOR TRAVEL-RELATED SERVICES.  PLEASE CHECK YOUR DOCUMENTS WHEN YOU RECEIVE THEM.  CALL US IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS.  MOST DISCOUNT FARES INVOLVE RESTRICTIONS.  CHANGING CARRIERS OR FLIGHTS COULD RESULT IN THE AIRLINE DEMANDING AN INCREASED FARE.

GROUP TRAVEL - For the purposes of determining when a group fee will be charged, CJH Luxury Travel does not consider parents and children under 18 to be a group, no matter the number of children.  Parties of more than 4 adults will be considered a group.  

GENERAL TERMS

CJH Luxury Travel (herein "Travel Agency") offers retail travel services to customers which are provided by separate and independent vendors of travel services.  CJH Luxury Travel does not operate, control, or otherwise provide services for or on behalf of independent travel vendors. Traveler agrees that Travel Agency is acting only as an agent for the Traveler in acquiring transportation, hotel accommodations, sightseeing, and other privileges, or services for the Traveler's benefit and on the express condition that Travel Agency shall not be responsible for any loss, accident, injury, delay, defect, omission or irregularity which may occur or be occasioned, whether by reason of any act, negligence or default of any company or person engaged in or responsible for carrying out any of the arrangements, or otherwise in connection therewith.  Clients are advised that the suppliers whose names appear in the information supplied to them are those who are actually responsible for providing the travel services they have purchased.  Clients consent to and request the use of those suppliers and agree not to hold CJH Luxury Travel responsible should any of these suppliers: 1) fail to provide the travel services I have purchased; 2) fail to comply with any applicable law; or 3) engage in any negligent act or omission that causes me any sort of injury, damage, delay or inconvenience.  Travel Agency shall not be responsible for breach of contract, failure to comply with any laws such as the Americans with Disabilities (ADA), or any intentional or negligent actions or omissions on the part of such suppliers, which result in any loss, damage, delay, inconvenience or injury to travelers or travelers' companions or group members.

Travel Agency does not guarantee any of such supplier's rates, bookings, reservations, connections, scheduling, or handling of baggage or other personal effects.  Travelers that have done due diligence are aware of the quality of the hotel accommodations chosen and agree that the Travel Agency will not be responsible if they are not satisfied.  All prices are subject to change until booked and prices quoted are not guaranteed.  Additional fees may apply even after a reservation is booked.

RISKS, CANCELATIONS, AND INSURANCE:  Traveler assumes complete and full responsibility for and hereby releases CJH Luxury Travel from any duty of checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements of each destination, and all safety and security conditions of such destinations, during the length of the proposed travel.  For information concerning possible dangers at international destinations, contact the Travel Advisory Section of the U.S. State Department (202)647-5225, or access the State Department's online travel advisory service travel.state.gov.  For medical information, call the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC), (404)332-4559 or log on to cdc.gov

CJH Luxury Travel shall not be responsible for any injuries, losses, or damages in connection with terrorist activities, social or labor unrest, mechanical or structural integrity of air, sea, and ground transportation and accommodations, diseases, local laws, terrorists acts, climatic conditions, Acts of God, delays, changes or cancellations of travel due to weather conditions, hotel services, accidents or health-related problems before or while in-transit to (e.g. an accident on the way to a tour), during and after a tour, or any other actions, omissions, or conditions outside of CJH Luxury Travel's control.

If travel plans are delayed or canceled for any reason there will be no refunds issued by CJH Luxury Travel, including cancellations due to force majeure, or actual or threatened terrorist events.  There will be no refunds due to fear of travel from actual or threatened terrorist events. Any potential refunds will be issued by the supplier subject to their refund policies.

DOCUMENTATION: U.S. citizens traveling to any destination outside of the United States will be required to present a valid U.S. passport. Passports must be valid for 6 months past the return date. Some countries require a visa for transit or entry. Passengers are responsible to ensure that they have all the proper documents for entry. All names on documents must match the legal name on your photo I.D., and travel document information must match tickets. Please check the State Department website at https://travel.state.gov for further information. Immunizations may also be required. Failure to comply with these regulations may result in denied boarding, denied entry, and/or government-imposed fines. If you are a citizen of another country, there may be additional requirements. Check with the nearest consulate or embassy of the destination you are traveling to and find out the entry requirements for non-U.S. citizens."

It is the traveler's responsibility to protect their purchases and travel insurance is strongly recommended.  The traveler is advised to obtain appropriate insurance coverage against these risks; information is available through CJH Luxury Travel regarding travel insurance.  Traveler's retention of tickets, reservations, or bookings after issuance shall constitute consent of the above and an agreement on his/her part to convey the contents hereto to his/her travel companions or group members.

By embarking upon his/her travel, the traveler voluntarily assumes all risks involved in such travel, whether expected or unexpected.  The traveler is hereby warned of the above risks as well as possible travel industry bankruptcies and medical and climatic disruptions, and the possibility traveler may be unable to travel as scheduled because of a personal emergency.

LIMITS OF LIABILITY.  Should CJH Luxury Travel be found liable for any wrongdoing or negligence, damages shall be capped at the fees charged to Client by CJH Luxury Travel plus any commissions received from suppliers used for Client's trip.

CREDIT CARD SECURITY --  CJH Luxury Travel uses TravelJoy and Fora, third-party vendors to assist with client management,  TravelJoy uses leaders in secure payments -- Auric, Square, and Stripe -- to secure your data. Fora uses Stripe. No data is stored on TravelJoy servers. Credit card data is secured by Auric, a third-party, PCI-DSS compliant company, using secure tokens to encrypt payment information you view or use. For more information on Auric, see here. Direct invoice payments are processed and secured by Stripe. Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1.
